Madame Gao Yan, having worked for 30 years in Chinese central ministries responsible for international economic cooperation and foreign trade, served as Chairperson of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade(CCPIT), Chinese national foreign trade and investment promotion agency founded in 1952 with a time-honored history and extensive international influence, since August 2018.
Madame Gao Yan served as Vice Minister of Chinese Ministry of Commerce from 2013 to 2018, and served previously as Deputy Director-General of the Liaison Office of Chinese Central People's Government in the
Macao S.A.R. During her tenure, she played an important role in implementing opening-up policy and in deepening international economic cooperation. Madame Gao also worked as Representative of Chinese Government in Japan's Aichi World Expo.
Xu Kunlin was born in Yongchun, Fujian Province in May 1965. Xu holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics. He is now vice mayor of Shanghai.

Vicente Gonzalez Loscertales has been Secretary General of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) since 1994, bringing to the post over a decade of service both in Government and in the international stage.
Mr. Loscertales ties with World Expos date to Seville 1992, where he was Director of International Participation.In his prior work for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Spanish Government, he held a variety of positions focusing on cooperation in science and innovation as well as development, which include: Director General for Cooperation with Africa and Asia, Deputy Director General for Scientific and Technological Co-operation and Head of Mission for Cooperation with Central American countries.
Mr. Loscertales holds a Ph.D. in History and he was professor of contemporary history at the University of Madrid. He is the author of numerous publications in history, social sciences and World Expos. He received an Honorary Doctorate in Economics from Konkuk University in Seoul, Korea. He has received decorations from several countries.

After that, Mr. Yin was appointed successively as Deputy Director and Director of the Department of International Trade and Economic Affairs of MOFTEC, Deputy Director-General (DDG-level) of the China
international Center for Economic and Technical Exchanges (CICETE), Deputy Director-General of the Department of Foreign Trade of MOFTEC and the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), and Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Trade and Economic Affairs of MOFCOM.
Mr Yin was promoted to Minister Counselor of Economy and Commerce (DG-level) of China's Mission to the European Union in August 2006, and Director-General of the Department of International Trade and Economic Affairs of MOFCOM in May 2011. He was appointed as Director-General of the Department of WTO Affairs of MOFCOM and concurrently as Director-General of China WTO Notification and Inquiry Center.
In August 2014, Mr. Yin was appointed as Vice Chairman of CCPIT.

Najeeb Mohammed Al-Ali

Najeeb Mohammed Al-Ali is the Executive Director of the Dubai Expo 2020 Bureau. His role incorporates the alignment and coordination of Expo 2020 Dubai projects across all governmental entities following the
theme of ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’ and subthemes of Opportunity,Mobility and Sustainability.
Previously,Najeeb was the Executive Director of the Emirates Competitiveness Council. He also served as the Director of Strategy and Policy in the United Arab Emirates Prime Minister’s Office, Director of Special Projects in The Executive Council of Dubai and the Executive Director of Dubai Centre for Corporate Values as well as various roles in TECOM investments and the Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company. Najeeb’s achievements include contributing to the United Arab Emirates Federal Strategy and Competitiveness Strategy as well as the Dubai Strategic Plan 2015, UAE vision 2021 and the development of Dubai’s green building policies.
Najeeb also established the strategic sectors division of the Dubai Economic Department and was instrumental in publishing UAE’s first corporate CSR report. Najeeb has also been involved in developing corporate strategies for various entities such as Dubai Knowledge Village, SamaCom, Knowledge Access, Dubai Internet City as well as HH Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rashid’s IT Education Project,eHosting DataFort and the Emirates Integrated Telecommunication Company.

Jun-ichiro Kuroda is Deputy Director-General for World Expo 2025 at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry(METI).
Prior to his current positon, Mr.Kuroda was a Minister for Economy, Trade, Industry and Energy at the Embassy of Japan in the United States. Before that positon, he was Director of Americas Division in the Trade Policy Bureau at METI. He also served as Japan’s negotiator for the TBT chapter of TPP negotiations. In these roles,Kuroda was involved in various efforts to strengthen US-Japan relationships, such as TPP and US-Japan parallel negotiations, US-Japan energy cooperation, PM Abe’s recent visit to the US and others.
From 2012 to 2013, Mr. Kuroda held the position of Principal Director in the Multilateral Trade System Department where he was responsible for WTO related issues. He also covered Japan-EU EPA negotiations.
Mr. Kuroda joined the Ministry of International Trade and Industry, currently known as METI, in April 1990.
Since then, he worked on a variety of trade and economic issues and participated in various international fora such as the WTO, OECD and the APEC.
From 2002 to 2004, Mr. Kuroda served on the Cabinet Affairs Office of the Cabinet Secretariat (Prime Minister’s Office), where he was responsible for coordinating exchanges between executive branch offices and the Diet as well as the preparation of the Prime Minister’s speech drafts for the Diet session. From 2007 to 2010, Mr. Kuroda was a New York Office Director for the Japan External Trade Organization(JETRO). Mr. Kuroda holds a Masters of Public Policy from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts in Law from the University of Tokyo. He was born in Kyoto and grew up in Fukuoka and Tokyo.

He Jingtang, architect,professor, doctorial supervisor, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, is now the Honorary Dean of School of Architecture, South China University of Technology (SCUT), and the President and Chief Architect of Architectural Design and Research Institute of SCUT (ADRISCUT).
He has been long engaged in architecture design, teaching and research, and developed the architectural theory of Two Concepts (holistic and sustainable concepts) and Three Features(place, culture and time).

ZHOU Hanmin, Professor of Law,tutor of doctorate students, honorary doctor of law conferred by University of Liverpool of United Kingdom, currently serves as the Standing Committee Member of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference(CPPCC), Vice Chairman of China National Democratic Construction Association (CNDCA), Vice Chairman of Shanghai Committee of CPPCC, Chairman of Shanghai Committee of CNDCA, President of Shanghai Institute of Socialism. He is also the Chairman of the National Association of Vocational Education of China, Shanghai Branch, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Public Diplomacy Association, Honorary President of Shanghai Outstanding Youth Federation, and former President of the World Economic Forum’s Regional Agenda Council on China.
Mr. Zhou was a teacher in Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade (SIFT) from 1983 to 2000. He has ever served as the Vice President of SIFT and Dean of its Law School. From 2000 to 2003,he served as the Deputy Chief Commissioner of Shanghai Pudong New Area People’s Government. Jasmine has organized Shanghai’s city branding campaign including “Shanghai. Let’s Meet!” campaign in Liverpool (2018) and London (2016), Shanghai ’s official participation in the 2015 Milan Expo and “It’s Shanghai Time” theme exhibition at UNESCO headquarters as a part of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s state visit to France in 2014.
In 2016, Jasmine founded Branding Shanghai, an organization which aims not only to help promote the Chinese metropolis all over the world, but also to help global nations, cities, organizations, corporations and celebrities to land in China. Mr Teng Junjie, the Chief Director of the opening and closing ceremonies of Expo 2010 Shanghai, was entitled to the “Advanced Individual in World Expo 2010”.
Formerly serving as the Director of Arts Department of Shanghai Oriental Television, the Deputy Director of Shanghai TV Station, the Vice President of Shanghai Media Group (SMG), the Artistic Director of Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture, Radio, Film &Television, the Secretary of Party Committee of Shanghai Media Group (SMG),and the member of the 12th and 13th Shanghai Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Mr Teng is now the Chairman of Supervisory Board of Shanghai Media Group (SMG) and Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture, Radio, Film & Television, the Chairman of Shanghai Television Artists Association, a member of China Writers Association, a member of China Film Directors’ Guild, the fellow researcher of Peking University Television Center, and the guest professor of Communication University of China,Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Tongji University,

In his course of being a director and a producer, Mr. Teng has directed and produced hundreds of large-scale television and cultural programs. Recently, Mr. Teng has been directing 3D film versions of famous Peking Operas. His first one, the 3D panoramic sound film Farewell My Concubine, won the international 3D film award of the year,“Golden Lumiere Award”, in January 2015 in Los Angeles, which was the first time a Chinese film won the international mainstream film award. The 3D panoramic sound film In Pursuit of the General won the “Best Director Award”in the 2nd Canada-China International Film Festival in Montreal and the“Audience Choice Award” in the 10th Okinawa International Movie Festival. The other 3D panoramic sound film Cao Cao and Yang Xiu won the “Most Respected Award” in the 5th Tokyo International Film Festival in 2018 and the “Golden Angel Award” in the 14th Chinese American Film Festival.
Jiao Hongfen has been working with the state agencies for long . In 1999, he joined the China Broadcasting Art Troupe as the deputy head. In 2004, he became the deputy chief of Dali Bai autonomous prefecture. In 2006, Jiao Hongfen was appointed the party secretary general of China Film Group Corporation. He became the president of CFGC in 2011. Since 2014, he has become the chairman of China Film Group Corporation. Jiao Hongfen is the leading expert in the research of china film industry especially in film co-production and film import and export and provides guidance with film administration in the international exchange and cooperation.
Eduardo López Busquets was born in Valencia, Spain, on July 9, 1957. He holds a Law degree from the University of Valencia (1979). He became a career diplomat in 1985 and received his Master’s degree in International Politics from the Free University of Brussels (1996).
Eduardo López Busquets was Ambassador of Spain to Mozambique and Swaziland from 2009 to 2012.
In April 21012 he was appointed Director General of Casa Arabe,(Arab House) a prestigious institution, lead by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with participation of regional authorities of Madrid and Andalusia, and local authorities of Madrid and Córdoba, and focused on political, economic and cultural relations of Spain with the different Arab countries.
In July 2015 he was appointed Ambassador to Iran.
Prior to that, he served in several countries, including Algeria (2000-2002) and Iran (1991-1993), as Deputy Mission Chief of the Spanish Embassies there. He has also held diplomatic positions in Bogota (1988-1991),
Brussels (NATO, 1993-1997) and Mexico City (2004-2006).
During his long professional career, in the Presidency of the Government (2002-2004), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation (1997-1998), the Ministry of Defense(1998-1999) and the Ministry of the Presidency (2006-2008), Eduardo López Busquets has focused his activity on a group of different but related fields: public diplomacy,political analysis, and international, European and Euro-Mediterranean security,From 2006 to 2008, he held the position of Director General of the Office of the Commissioner of Expo Zaragoza 2008 and, therefore, that of Deputy Commissioner. In 2008, the International Expositions Bureau (BIE)awarded its gold medal to Eduardo López Busquets.
He was a member of the International Jury which awarded the prizes of the 2017 International Exposition of Astana (Kazakstan).
In May 2013, he received an award of the Association of Arab Journalists and Writers in Spain, as part of the series of awards granted by the International Press Club. And in June 2015 he received an award granted by the group of Arab Ambassadors in Madrid.
Chen Xiejun, born in 1952, is now a research fellow and a PhD advisor. LUO Delong, Researcher, Doctor of Management, is Director-General (since 2005) of China International Nuclear Fusion Energy Program Execution Center (ITER China Domestic Agency), the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST). Dr.LUO also serves as Standing Director of Chinese Nuclear Society and is honored the Special Government Allowance by the State Council. Before entering the ITER China Domestic Agency, Dr. LUO held several positions at different organizations, including the Institute of Scientific and technical Information of China, Department of International Cooperation of MOST,Chinese Embassy in Norway and High Tech Research and Development Center of MOST.In 2003, Dr. LUO led the Chinese team to join the ITER negotiation and contributed to founding the ITER China Domestic Agency. Dr.Zhu Xiaoxun joined Siemens in 2014 as Head of Siemens Corporate Technology China. In this role, he leads Siemens’ largest research center outside of Germany, focusing on solving unique technology challenges in the China market, with a strong emphasis on collaborative research with local partners within the China innovation eco-system.
In addition to his regional responsibilities, Dr. Zhu also leads Siemens’Company Core Technologies initiative on Autonomous Robotics. In this capacity, he leads a team of global experts on the research of Robotics,including new mechatronics systems, human-robot collaboration and the application of artificial intelligence in robotic controllers etc.
Dr.Zhu has spent the past two decades driving innovation in multiple technology areas, managing cross-cultural R&D teams in China and globally. As a prolific inventor, he was the author of more than 250 US patents, on various topics including laser signal processing, dimensioning and tracking algorithms,wireless devices, and imaging-based data collection devices.
Before Siemens, Dr. Zhu spent 16 years with Honeywell, where he was most recently Vice President and Global Leader for HTS-ACS, managing Honeywell’s Automation and Control Solutions engineering teams in China,India and Czech, with over 2800 engineers. He joined Honeywell through the acquisition of Metrologic Instruments, an Automatic Identification company in New Jersey, USA, where he was its Chief Technology Officer.
Dr.Zhu Xiaoxun earned his PhD and MS/BS of Electrical Engineering from Drexel University, Philadelphia, USA in 1997 and 1994. From 1988 to 1991, he pursued undergraduate studies in the Special Class for Gifted Young in the University of Science and Technology of China.

HE Dr.AL Dhaheri has joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, United Arab Emirates, in 2017 where he was appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary to the people’ Republic of China.
After he completed his higher education in United States of America, he immediately joined ADNOC Group of Companies in 1992. Throughout his career with them, he held a wide range of senior positions.
1998-2007:He was Head of the Marketing Research & Analysis Department in the ADNOC Marketing & Refining Directorate, before being appointed as Manager for Planning & Group Coordination in April 2007. In November 2007 he was assigned as General Manager of the National Gas Shipping Company Ltd.(NGSCO)
2009-2015:He held the position of Chief Executive Officer of both Abu Dhabi National Tanker Company(ADNATCO) and National Gas Shipping Company Ltd.(NGSCO).
2016:He was appointed Chief Executive Officer, Ruwais Fertilizer Industries(FERTIL).
He was also involved in OPEC (2006-2016). In addition of being a Board Member of the Abu Dhabi Oil Refining Company (TAKREER) and Chairman of TAKREER’s Board Advisory Committee. He was also Chairman of both the UAE Shipping Association and the DNV GL Technical Meetings UAE, as well as of the Lloyd’s Register Middle East and Africa Advisory Technical Committee. He holds an Honorary Doctorate of Maritime Laws from the University of Tasmania in Australia, an MBA from South Eastern University, Washington D.C and BSc in Economics and Political Science from the University of Southern Indiana in United States of America.
