BEIJING, Oct. 1 (Xinhua)— Expo 2027 Belgrade, a Specialised Expo, will be held in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, from May 15 to August 15, 2027. According to Wang Wenshuai, spokesperson for the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the exhibition design for the China Pavilion has been largely finalized. Structured around a narrative journey through the past, present and future, the Pavilion will feature three thematic chapters:"Rhythms of Chinese Civilization,""Advancing Together for Shared Prosperity," and "Intelligence in Motion, New Beginnings." The exhibition will adopt an integrated approach combining immersive, interactive and experiential displays.
The China Pavilion is being organized and developed by the CCPIT on behalf of the Chinese government. Wang said that the CCPIT has brought together leading professional teams, including the Central Academy of Fine Arts, to advance the Pavilion's exhibition design to the highest standards of quality and excellence. The China Pavilion at Expo 2027 Belgrade will extensively incorporate China's latest applications of embodied intelligence, vividly showcasing achievements in the creative transformation of fine traditional Chinese culture, the flourishing development of sports, literature and the arts in China in the new era, and an innovative vision of future life empowered by science and technology.
To date, a total of 22 localities across China, including provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities and cities with independent planning status, have confirmed their participation in the China Pavilion during Expo 2027 Belgrade. They will organize dedicated regional activity days featuring a series of cultural and artistic performances, interactive experiences, distinctive exhibitions, and trade and investment promotion activities. These initiatives aim to foster extensive and in-depth practical cooperation between China and Serbia at the local level across multiple fields, including people-to-people and cultural exchanges, economic and trade relations, and science and technology.
"Moving forward, we will continue to steadily advance all preparatory work to ensure that the China Pavilion makes a successful and impressive debut at Expo 2027 Belgrade. We will leverage the Pavilion as a platform for multi-level and diversified international exchanges and cooperation, further deepen the ironclad friendship between China and Serbia, and vividly present a China that is credible, appealing and respectable," Wang said.
