On the afternoon of November 8, the opening ceremony of "Keep Radiant"-- Design Exhibition of Emerging Designers & Artists was held in the WE theatre of World Expo Museum. The exhibition was co-sponsored by World Expo Museum and Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts, Shanghai University.

　　Chairman of the World Expo Museum Council Hong Hao, Executive Director of Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts and Chairman of Shanghai Designers Association Wang Dawei, Curator of World Expo Museum Liu Xiuhua, Secretary General of the Design of Industrial Arts Association of Shanghai Hong Xianfang, Vice President of Tokyo University of the Arts Toyomi Hoshina, Distinguished Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts, Founder of Sino Type Huang Kejian were presented at the opening ceremony."Keep Radiant" participating artists and organizations, guest from museum-related institutions in Shanghai, Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts, Shanghai University, Chinese intangible cultural heritage inheritance group training class, teachers and students from XuBeiHong Art School of Shanghai Maritime University attended the ceremony.

　　Curator of World Expo Museum Liu Xiuhua said that the art of the expo is always dedicated to "Connecting Minds" and exploring "Creating the Future". This exhibition is a positive practice for our future participation in Expo 2020 Dubai, and for innovative exploration and promotion.

　　World Expo Museum and its strategic partner, Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts hold the exhibition named "Keep Radiant"-- Design Exhibition of Emerging Designers & Artists " on November 8, 2019 to January 5, 2020. The exhibition covers an area of about 1,300 square meters and is open to the public free of charge in exhibition hall 2.

　　The exhibition is divided into 6 parts：Art & Gathering, Nourish & Intergrowth, Exploration & Resonance, Communication & Sharing, Opportunity & Co-creation. There are more than 30 sets,100 pieces of original design works. Through the perspective of Chinese and foreign young artists, teachers and students , interpret three deputy theme of Expo 2020 Dubai "Opportunities","Mobility" and "Sustainability", as well as the theme "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future". The exhibits are presented in various forms of cross-media creation such as painting, sculpture, installation, poster, photography and new media images, etc. Through intangible cultural heritage technology, stacked photography, sound effects, the origin of characters and other elements used in the exhibition, the exhibition has its unique creative charm and immersive space, the expo will inspire viewers to explore and imagine the sub-topic of "opportunity, flow and sustainability".

　　Following the concept of "Inclusiveness, Cooperation and Development" of Expo 2020 Dubai, this exhibition aims at cross-boundary cooperation and cross-platform development, and some of the posters are designed by students from Dubai art academy.

　　During the exhibition, a series of academic forum, art salon, workshop, parent-child education and other activities will be held.

　　Writing is the cornerstone of civilization and the medium for communication of ideas. The last chapter of the exhibition shows the creative results of Chinese. At the opening ceremony, Distinguished Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of Shanghai academy of Fine Arts, Founder of Sino Type Huang Kejian authorized the use of Sino Type to World Expo Museum.

　　In the academic forum "Connecting Minds, Creating the future"-- art and cultural communication in the context of the expo which was held after the opening ceremony, experts and scholars gave speeches to explain the relationship between expo and contemporary art design and the future development trend.

　　Deputy Chief Architect of China Construction Engineering Design Group and Chief Designer of China pavilion in Expo 2020 Dubai Han Yongwei introduced the construction scheme of China pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai. Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts distinguished professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Beijing Olympic Games Bidding Committee Presentation Multimedia Chief Planner Huang Kejian gave a speech on " Major events and presentations in Chinese " through writing and art. General Manager of China Fortune Land Development Commercial Management Center, Assistant General Manager of the Art Project ofK11 Art Foundation, New World Development Company Limited, Curator of K11 Art Museum, Director of Operations of Aurora Museum, General Manager and Curator of Shanghai 7 Art Center Huang Shenzhi talked about "Art in Public Space". Founder and Chairman of Alfilo Brands He Yizan delivered the speech of " Art Into Life " and V&A Museum's Operation in China. Vice President of Tokyo University of the Arts and Japanese Contemporary Artist Toyomi Hoshina shared " Environmental Space and the Continuation of Eastern Thought ", exploring aesthetics and creating art.

　　This forum was hosted by World Expo Museum and Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts, Shanghai university. It was strongly supported by Shanghai Designers Association and the Design of Industrial Arts Association of Shanghai.
