Today, the Board Chairman of NC Astana EXPO-2017, Mr. Akhmetzhan Yessimov met with representatives of NCOC Consortium (North Caspian Operating Company) in the office of the organizer of the International Specialized Exhibition EXPO-2017.

At the meeting, the Board Chairman expressed his gratitude to NCOC, to the general sponsor of the Exhibition for its contribution to EXPO-2017.

In addition, the head of the national company has told in details about the management of the Exhibition titled “Energy of the Future”. At present, the construction work is close to its completion; the transfer of the international pavilions to participating countries started on October 31 this year. 106 countries and 17 international organizations confirmed their participation in the Exhibition. 101 Commissioners of sections were appointed. 90 Participation Agreements were signed with the countries, including international organizations.

In turn, Vice-President of Shell, Mr. Sean Rooney said that he and his partners in the consortium are impressed by the preparations for EXPO-2017.

“Shell is pleased to be among the global partners in the Exhibition in Astana. We support the efforts of Kazakhstan to move towards “green” economy. And on behalf of all sponsoring companies, I would like to note once again that we are pleased to contribute to the success of such an important international event”, said Sean Rooney.

It should be noted that to date JSC NC Astana EXPO-2017 has signed agreements and memoranda with Kazakhstani and foreign partners with the sponsorship contribution amounting in total 125.5 million euros.
