Today our journey of theOngoingHistory?:fromShanghaiToMilano? is with Pavilion Lithuania! The shape of the pavilion in Expo2010 was originated from the idea of flower in buds, showing that the country was dynamic, flourish and full of passion. The unfolding tree bud reflected a harmonious relation of the country and its cities and nature.
This year in Milano, Lithuania contributes to the theme of Expo 2015: Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life both as a country with rich agricultural traditions, and as a country focused on developing innovative technologies for industrial food production. It is these characteristics that help it to carve out a prominent position amongst the countries of "New Europe."
