Today our journey of theOngoingHistory?:fromShanghaiToMilano? is with Pavilion Kazakhstan! The Pavilion in Expo2010 was designed to show the youngest and dynamically developing capital of the world, Astana, featuring stretched membrane and glass curtain wall, characteristic of Kazakhstan's modern architecture. The artificial landscape inside the pavilion offered visitors an immersive experience to feel the winter of prairie.
This time in Expo2015 the Kazakh pavilion reveals itself under the theme "The Land of Opportunities", aiming to introduce visitors to the theme of protecting natural and agricultural resources, culture and the idea of sustainable development. The exhibition can be traced in many traditions and customs and is reflected in its distinctive motto "such a large Country, of which we know so little."
